Work from home scams are very popular. In fact, there are so many out there that is scary. I became a victim of many of them, but after a while I finally got smart. However, those who scam are becoming smarter every time and you must be careful. Things that you can do if you are a victim of a work from home scam
BBB Online: You must contact The Better Business Bureau system and the BBOnline. They have made things easier. Also use them before your purchase something that may seem a work from home scam.
Cybercrime.gov: This is a website that you must visit. The Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section (CCIPS) of the criminal division of the U.S. Department of Justice is a great resource.
Federal Trade Commission (FTC): Use this form to submit a complaint to the FTC of consumer protection about a particular company or organization. You can also call 1-877-FTC-HELP or 1-877-382-4357
ICAC: The Internet Crimes against Children Task Force
Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3): The IC3 is a partnership between the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation and the NW3C (National White Collar Crime Center.
